My car was in an accident on March 7th, 2021, a red light runner hit the front. After working 12 hour days for 6 weeks to fix it I bought these hood pins and installed them. On the first ride I took my car after being away for about 2 months these latches fell out on the freeway at 70mph causing my hood to fail. hitting the windshield and destroying the entire front of my R53 Mini Cooper S. At first I thought I might have done something wrong so we just did a quick test today and these things popped out of their ball studs with a little tugging! I'm so pissed! Thank you for launching something totally useless, unsafe and unreliable!
