This is a good alternative for the money if you don't have one
Buying a PS3 2nd as it was cheap didn't cost me a hard drive mount as I had a hard drive which the purchase allowed me to put in and the download ps3 no problem, there wasn't much to install, just insert the hard drive, screw and plug in, then boot up and enjoy
