I've often had trouble finding the right ironing board covers. I don't know if my ironing board is just a weird shape, but most of the time I have to struggle to put it on. Although this one fits very well as it's a bit oversized, it does fit a few sizes due to the design. and forms of ironing boards. The product itself appears to be very well made, with just enough thickness to soften your clothes when ironed. It has an attractive appearance and a reasonable price. One could certainly spend a little less, but the quality of the less expensive ones would be flimsy in my opinion. And you could certainly spend a lot more, but I don't think you get more for your money. I have never used any of them. I'm not sure how well this will do for keeping delicate fabrics safer. However, this is a nice addition. When installing I would recommend that you check how your ironing board closes to make sure the straps that are supposed to hold the lid in place don't get in the way of the mechanism.
