Works as advertised!
This device allowed me to use an old pair of headphones with two 3.5mm TRS mic and headphone jacks and plug them into my computer's USB port. I connected the headset to this adapter and plugged the cable into the USB port. Very easy. It worked flawlessly on my Windows 10 PC with no further configuration changes and I'm thrilled to be able to use my favorite headset again!
