The lack of autofocus is quite expected, it was exactly what was indicated in the description, but then the price could be lower. In any case, this is a quality webcam that works equally well in Zoom and Skype, under Windows and Linux. The sound quality is clear and loud. I used to have to plug a professional microphone into a studio preamp and then into an audio interface. There were several webcams in general, because there were compatibility problems with different operating systems and programs. This webcam solved all the difficulties with connections and settings. If before that, before every online communication, I had to: 1) install a microphone stand, 2) turn on the preamplifier, interface, monitor signal levels and the correct settings, 3) install one of the cameras, monitor the correct viewing angle and lighting (for each of my old webcams had their own lighting requirements), now it’s enough for me: 1) before starting communication, move the curtain to the right, 2) at the end of communication, move the curtain to the left. Yes, the sound quality is inferior to the studio set described above and the image quality is even higher for the front camera of the mobile phone, BUT all this fades before the ease of connection and ease of use. I give this camera five stars out of five.
