One of the map lights in my '06 Pilot didn't work - wouldn't light up when the door was open and couldn't press the switch. Replacing the bulb didn't work either - a known-working bulb in the map's other light source didn't work in this one. After reading on the Piloters forum that this switch could be the culprit, I ordered it and followed the instructions I found online to remove the entire light assembly and replace the switch. I replaced both, although the other worked, as I find it's usually better to do everything at the same time than to flash everything back up when/if the other fails. I reinstalled the card backlight unit and everything worked great. If you have good needlework skills, this is not difficult. Be sure to use plastic cutting tools to remove the lenses and card assembly so you don't scratch or break anything.
