We have a turquoise owl and a turquoise unicorn for our twin girls. It's been about a year now and I washed the covers for the first time. It was so easy! I'm confused. Don't be afraid of reviews saying the case will shrink or seal up. We had no shrinkage and zip-in is very easy - follow the instructions here! Just insert a paper clip and it's like a regular zipper. I waited so long for the review because I honestly didn't believe the covers would wash well. But they are just as soft and look like new! Highly recommend for your little ones.
