Review on 💧 KOHLER 77686 NA Aquifer Cartridge Water Filtration System by Carl Morgan

About five weeks ago we professionally installed this dual Kohler filter. After installation, the water flow through the faucet dropped from about 1.5 GPM to about 1.2 GPM (spec listed as 1.7). Since then, the flow has steadily declined. Now it's 0.5 gallons per minute. After checking for kinks and clogs, I called Kohler support. They demanded that I make sure the problem was with the filter and not the Blanco faucet. I turned off the filter and tested the unfiltered flow out of the faucet, which met spec. I then checked the flow just through the filter and it stayed at 0.5 GPM. I called Kohler support again and they insisted the problem was with the faucet as it is not a Kohler faucet and they only recommend Kohler faucets. (no longer?) offered an option for this purchase in my Revain account. I will try Kohler again. Bottom line, this filter doesn't work as well as Kohler support. I do not recommend this product, but I do recommend 3M filter products instead. We've had several 3M filters, from whole house to under counter models, and they all worked flawlessly. The one time I called 3M support for an entire home system their support was outstanding. I expected more from Koehler.
