Bought this after buying a number of guards from Local Menards. Menara are expensive and don't work.1. I bought sticky pads and stuck them on and the way my kids pull these chairs nobody gets stuck. So it failed.2. I bought some skid plates and then installed them. They had some kind of plastic protection. But I think it scratched my wooden floor. They stuck together. But it scratches the floor. Defeat the target.3. I bought them and they solve both problems. They cannot be removed as they are fixed with nails. In addition, the lower touch surface is a kind of cloth. It doesn't scratch the floor. They are pretty small. If you have large chair/table legs, you may need larger ones.
