I connected the power supply to two separate modules and they worked fine, and also connected to a module with a switch and it worked until I connected it to the opposite side of the touch switch. In this configuration, the light module was always on regardless of the switch. Lastly, instead of sending the unit in, I assembled it with the switch module and connected it to the cell's power switch. The light is controlled by a switch in the cage and I can use it. However, if you are looking for custom lighting controlled by a touch switch, this may not be the right option for you. Touch switch issues seem to be fairly common.
