I bought Plus because Vetoquinol Renal K+ was unavailable. Luckily I only ordered one tube. The consistency of the product is liquid. The color is not a pleasant beige. It comes out of the syringe I use to give the medication to my 17-year-old dog. Within 5 years she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She doesn't seem to like the taste. The cost is lower than that of Vetohinol. The adage "You get what you pay for” seems to apply here. On the other hand, I am grateful that I was able to give her a dietary supplement while waiting for Vetoquinol to appear.
