These gloves work well on cold but not very cold days. The cuffs are a little short and work best with a jacket or shell that has sleeves that are too long as the jacket needs to be worn over gloves. I like the trigger finger aspect as a great compromise between glove and mitten. This is my second pair but the first is blue. Unfortunately, the included skin balm darkens them, which is annoying but to be expected. Without balm, they recently got soaked on a wet, snowy ski day. I also really like that they come in a variety of sizes, not just SM and L. I wear an 11.
