Either work better on your faucet and/or add a thread.
Lots of features for a small price. To solve the top view problem that they aren't tapered (they aren't advertised), either work better on your faucet and/or just put a little thread lock on the threads and you'll help it out. good enough to seal. I rarely need thread lock, but I've had to replace some existing ones where it loosened a bit and the thread lock trick worked.
