As others have said the cable has a bit of flexibility to push it down the tube especially around the elbow. But with a bit of finesse it can be done. The 10 foot length was perfect for me to clean both ends of my 19 foot pipe and I ended up getting a lot of lint. I also found that the lint came off the brush much easier than I expected. I highly recommend that you clean your dryer vent and dryer every few years. Using dryer sheets and fabric softener has dramatically increased dryer burns, and keeping them clean isn't too difficult.
