So this is a rewrite, since the first plater aia got was probably defective. This one played MP3 files very well, with great sound on my Plantronics headphones. When I take the headphones off, the music pauses, and when I put them back on, the music resumes. The first player iaa got did not do that, The only problem i had with the new one so far, was that music was not playing through the headphones even though it was linked to them, and tested before hand. It took a little to get the music to go to the headphones, but once I did, it worked perfectly. I gave it 4 stars for the lack of aa touch screen, but working the player through the soft keys was pretty easy. the software that runs the player could work a little better, but as it is, it gets the job done. I did discover that it has some sort of speaker on it, since music was coming from it until I got my headphones to work the way they should. Four stars says that the player can use some software updates so it would work and look better on the menus. The player was worth what i paid for it, and it is getting harder to find reasonably priced players.
