They prevent my cockatiels from defecating in food and water.
I would give 5 stars but medium sized feeders need perch. I bought these to solve the problem of my cockatiels pooping on food and water. The hood idea is great. I've had them for a few months now and nothing has broken. I got all the parts etc. However, they could not get the food because there was no perch. I had to tie a rope ladder to them so they had something to stand on. Perch would be perfect! Overall they solved my problem, water and food with no poop. Hooray
