Review on 🧲 Magneto MagK1 Tape Organizer Kit by Willie Midkiff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been using it for over ten years! Must read.

I have been installing bathrooms for over 20 years. Using a tape measure probably about 500 times a day means a lot of worn pants and time and hassle with a webbing. (I don't use packs except for drum and screw packs when needed). I have been using this product for over ten years and I firmly believe that it is the best on the market. I'm writing this review out of selfishness because I want as many people as possible to buy them to keep the people who make them in business so I never have to work without one again. It's the best thing since sliced bread. Response to other reviewers. 1. The metal plate is not fully "snapped" into the magnet. I agree that beveling both the metal plate and the plastic around the magnet would solve this problem. Thing is, the problem is actually temporary, the more you use it the better it gets. It gets a little bit better with each use until it "breaks in" completely. It just goes by itself. Just listen for a loud click every time you insert the tape. No problem2. Does the clip on the belt come off the belt? If you remove the tape, use a downward twisting motion, the problem is solved. I can honestly say that this has never happened to me. By my count, I've recorded this thing 1.2 million times in my entire life. Attaching a metal plate to the band. Each band is different, the plate will loosen and maybe even pull out a small screw when used. To solve this problem, mix up a small amount of JB Weld or any two-part epoxy and apply a drop under the panel before gluing. If you do this the panel will never come off, it works great!
