I thought it would save me the frustration of trying fifty times to put the tape back in the corner of my bag. the day I work on my home projects. It's not like this. I do not use it. It's insanely hard to put this thing in your pocket. I have to use two hands: one to separate the spring clip from the case and the other to place it on the belt. But that doesn't really matter because you only have to wear it once at the beginning of the day. My real complaints: 1. You have to constantly fiddle…

good but not the best for big wide tape measure

I like the idea of this device. I need some duct tape as I'm a carpenter but I often don't like carrying a full tool belt so I decided to give this device a try. Overall it's probably good, but there are a few things you need to know. If you like having a big, thick, and wide measuring tape, there just isn't enough magnetic force to keep the measuring tape secure all the time. mine keeps slipping, sometimes because it's moving too fast. I've been using it for over ten years! Must read.

I have been installing bathrooms for over 20 years. Using a tape measure probably about 500 times a day means a lot of worn pants and time and hassle with a webbing. (I don't use packs except for drum and screw packs when needed). I have been using this product for over ten years and I firmly believe that it is the best on the market.
