Review on Girard 2GWHDA6B Flange Assembly Conversion by Chris Spoja

Part number 2GWHDA6B does not match the Revain gauge. I took a chance and hoped the right door had arrived. That was the right part. The picture in the advertisement shows 2GWHD, which is significantly smaller than the A6B. Luckily, the promotional image was fake and there wasn't a single review identifying it as such. So I'm highlighting it here in case someone else encounters the same issue. Other than that small issue, it's perfect. The door is strong, the hinges are strong. Since my heater is on the passenger side, it's a little odd that this door doesn't have the ability to open the other way. Opening against the wind (or forward) was a problem, but it is possible to add a screw to close the door. The door covered an 18" wide x 14" tall hole/cutout that held my previous Atwood water heater when needed. Now I'm a happy tourist!
