I actually got this after not liking the first Metra set I got. I don't really like any of the three kits available, including this one. There is an "edge" at the bottom of the hole that sticks out a little further than the top. It's on both gauges I have and this Skosha. I really didn't like it for the first meter before putting the stereo in the car so I ordered another meter and this one as I didn't want to mess with the mount after spending so much on the radio. . Once I put the stereo in the car, the protrusion didn't bother me the way it did when it was on the outside, although I still think flush would be a lot better. I chose the 2nd Metra kit which I ordered as a whole as the Scosche kit didn't quite fit. /shelf They were almost the same, but you had to rip the tab out for a noise and that left a mark.
