I needed something to hold my camera when shooting YouTube videos and product review videos. Just like this one! I tried this one and it does the job perfectly. I love that the central core of the arm is VERY solid. Once in place, he won't move (unless he gets hit, but then he'll still return to the same spot). Please note that if you have a phone it must be on its side in the mount as the mount is very wide when unopened and the camera lens must be on the edge of the phone not in the center and the phone must be set down - Center, otherwise the lens is closed with a holder. If you have a tablet, you will most likely need to mount it vertically. The clamp is easy to use as shown in the video. Unscrew the clamp, adjust and retighten the clamp. I have no experience with durability but for basic use it will be perfect for my needs.
