Bib & Burp Pillow

When you have a baby that sits to eat, you need a bib. You can also try the guerrilla method of stripping the child naked and placing a wide fringe cloth under the high chair. Aside from this extreme method, you need a good bib. We tried a few for our dirty little guy. They irritated his throat at first, forcing us to go back to the standard plastic head. But after two or three tries he started to like it. Over a year later we still love it. We've started calling the spill site "the moat" and it does the job well. He typically loses 10-15% of his food there while learning to use a spoon or fork. Sometimes we also skip or give him too much food for one bite. If he's really hungry, he'll return there at the end of the meal and eat what he previously missed. These are good times as we are sure he is getting enough food. He pours in different amounts of water, milk or diluted fruit juice. Sometimes, when removing the breastplate, one must be careful not to spill the contents of the moat. But that's a small price to pay, and it's actually fun like playing the old Operation game. Anyway, instead of telling you to try this bib, I'm going to talk about our baby's habits. Try this bib! That works great for us. You can only hope that your little one enjoys it too. This makes cleaning up after meals much easier than traditional bibs and saves time that you can spend with him/her instead.
