I bought this because sweat got into my phone case when I ran with my phone in hand. I wanted to prevent this and the product says it is waterproof. The touchscreen with the plastic cover is great. It is sensitive and can be easily controlled by buttons. The problem is that the fabric backing is not waterproof. So when I sweat while running, it seeps into the fabric back covering the phone. Therefore, the phone got wet from behind. I then left my phone in the case to use the next workout and this seemed to prevent my phone from getting wet, however it makes the touchscreen more difficult to use due to the pressure required to make contact with the screen to kick.
