Works great. Reading other reviews I think Garmin can be unfairly blamed for the problems with double sided tape. Silicone oils are the enemy of every paint and glue. They penetrate deep into the pores of the plastic and can hardly be removed. They also retain adhesive for sticking. Many plastic polishing sprays contain silicone oils. Even if your dash looks drab, chances are someone at some point in a car's life has used silicone oil baby spray as one of the ingredients. Alcohol wipes aren't very effective (but good for other oils and dirt). There are several industrial sprays to remove silicone oil, but they are not miracle cures either. I think I paid about 20 wholesale for a spray bottle). When sanding, the oil just smears (even if you can't see it). The bottom line is that you'll have better luck if you're a person who ignores their dashboard and never details it than someone who details their car. .
