This feeder is a good size, holds a lot of seeds and is easy to clean; However, there are no instructions for filling with seeds. There is a moveable transparent insert which I thought would sit on top of the seed for feeding, but it actually goes under the seed. Needless to say it was a bit frustrating! Glad I tried it on the newspaper because the seed is scattered everywhere! But my nimble husband figured it out and it looks really good on my new feeder rod. Enjoy!
