Best $20 I've ever spent.

I've looked at a few of these. I read the reviews about it and I have my doubts. just got it Just unbelievable. I wish I had known about this little thing years ago. I can adjust my light perfectly from above. It looks like a small stable cage for my camera. And these people. You can still attach the tripod shoe to the bottom of the tripod if you want to put the entire assembly on a tripod. Excellent unit. i am so satisfied If I were to redesign the thing I would like the legs to be a bit higher so I could just leave the tripod shoe on all the time. I can't have everything. May I? Do not be shy.
