Don't let the product description confuse you with fancy technical terms and claims of Bear compatibility blah blah blah. This antenna helps any Wi-Fi device with a detachable antenna improve reception. That's what it's designed for and it works great. It connects to ANY device (not necessarily a router or PC) via one of those little antennas that screw onto the back of the device. Don't let the technical nonsense confuse you AGAIN! As an example I have a small internet radio (connects to home wifi and streams music via Pandora etc.) with a small 4 inch antenna. my work shed which is about 15 feet from the modem/router at home. The signal strength with the standard antenna was about 2 bars, with this antenna connected via a 12 inch cable it is now 5 bars. We recommend.
