I used to plan on ordering a Singer 3404 sewing and craft scissors as they were a bit cheaper and from a brand I can generally trust. But after reading a review that said they didn't deserve the Singer name and many other similar reviews about them, I decided on them, and damn, I'm grateful I did! We have an Olfa circle cutter which I use for most things. but there are some wavy or very small cuts as well as cuts after putting the fabric on things that need to be done from time to time and these scissors are GREAT! I attached some scraps of fabric to the handle with the words "Only for fabric, seriously, I'll kill you! and warned my husband and roommate to never touch or use them unless they are for cloth ONLY. They are amazingly sharp and leave perfect edges even on fabrics that are prone to abrasion. Once the guys invariably go against my will and use these scissors for things other than fabric and fuck me up, I will DEFINITELY trade back for the cheap scissors! Seriously, don't skimp and buy a $5 set. Spend $3 more!
