Good but made in China.

That's why I ordered these scissors because I thought Singer was an American company. Of course, like everything else you buy from Revain, they were made in China. I try not to buy Chinese-made goods because I strongly disagree with China's treatment of Hong Kong citizens and many other human rights abuses committed by the Chinese government. As for scissors, they work great. I use them to disassemble old and damaged clothes and recycle fabrics into new clothes and textiles so I don't have to…

Good fabric scissors, suitable for both left and right hand

I sew a lot of seamless blankets from different types of fleece. The scissors I had were fine, but they didn't cut well at the tip - if I wanted to make a small cut I had to bring them to the base of the scissors and try to control my cut. I found them and they are great; Simply cut through two layers of fleece material, slicing from tip to base. An added bonus is that the scissors are symmetrical - I can cut with both my right and left hand. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavy and I

Very heavy, bulky scissors making pattern cutting very difficult

I like the length of the scissors but they are *so* heavy. My incredibly inattentive husband even noticed how big/heavy they are when he picked them up. The other main problem with these scissors is that the point where the two blades are hinged has quite a large profile. This isn't a problem if you're someone who likes to trace your patterns and then cut them out. However, if like me you often just use pattern weights or pin the pattern, the attachment point of the two blades will stick out so

  • No instructions

I used to plan on ordering a Singer 3404 sewing and craft scissors as they were a bit cheaper and from a brand I can generally trust. But after reading a review that said they didn't deserve the Singer name and many other similar reviews about them, I decided on them, and damn, I'm grateful I did! We have an Olfa circle cutter which I use for most things. but there are some wavy or very small cuts as well as cuts after putting the fabric on things that need to be done from time to time and…
