That's why I ordered these scissors because I thought Singer was an American company. Of course, like everything else you buy from Revain, they were made in China. I try not to buy Chinese-made goods because I strongly disagree with China's treatment of Hong Kong citizens and many other human rights abuses committed by the Chinese government. As for scissors, they work great. I use them to disassemble old and damaged clothes and recycle fabrics into new clothes and textiles so I don't have to rely on goods made in a country that treats people like a commodity. In the future I will only buy US or Allied scissors. .
