The previous replacement brand was a disappointment, so my daughter recommended this one. Hers has lasted 10 years. I agree with other reviewers that this brand provides greater suction than the Dyson original. I donβt let it run down to the point of dying, so I cannot rate itβs running duration. Very pleased with this purchase!

- As with any battery-powered device, the Dyson V8 replacement battery has limitations when it comes to runtime. Users may find that they need to stop and recharge the battery mid-cleaning, which can be frustrating
