Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fantastic pots and pans, a few comments.

We replaced our 15 year old Circulon kit when the floor was difficult to clean. We did a lot of research and settled on the Granitestone Pro set. These are great pans. So why only 4 instead of 5 stars? Because they are not perfect. What's really good is that they don't stick and are easy to clean. I haven't done what many people do, the "egg test", but so far nothing has stuck. I've never wanted to boil an egg without butter or butter, and I see no reason to test my pan in a way that I never use. Today I cooked scrambled eggs in a pan with some olive oil and when I put the eggs on the plate it looked like nothing was cooking inside. The fried cheese came out great and the oven roasted chicken is cooked to perfection. What could be better is that the handles of the pans stay cold, but only on the ends. If you grip the pan tightly, perhaps to gain a little leverage, the handles will get hot. If you know, it's not a big issue, but it's worth mentioning. On a soup pot, both handles are very short and get very hot. I'm not a fan of glass lids. This applies to every sentence. Once you start cooking they fog up, so what's the point? Good. More specifically, they could be designed so that all lids are interchangeable between pots and pans. We kept a few lids from our previous set, such as the 8" pan, so we could cover everything if needed. And this set can actually use a 12-inch pan that's several inches deep. There is a 10 inch model built this way but it is too small for a family of 4. The closest size you can get is 14 inches, which I think can get bulky. The 5.5 quart (12") size is "Goldilocks" in my opinion and you can't buy them separately. Despite that, I still recommend the set. We will be adding at least one square pot that kids love, a variety of items and maybe a square grill pan. For the money the set is a great value.

Cons
