Let there be light!

This is a great solution if you want to connect and hang lighting under cupboards or in a study. I actually used mine in a room with a stove that didn't have an overhead light. I would prefer around 2700-3000K as I prefer the "warm white" filament Kelvin equivalent of my LEDs, but that's fine. The kit contains everything you need. Light must be used. I would NOT use them under kitchen cabinets unless you have (a) a hidden outlet and (b) you can access that outlet through a small drill hole etc to plug it in and on/off switches/dimmers were hidden . It's good and you can use the corner adapter and adjust them in line or rotate 90 degrees. I installed them over my oven and spread them as far apart as I could when the part was installed at 90 degrees. I glued them to the underside of some sheet metal air ducts. I expect to have to re-tape them at some point due to duct temperature changes, chilly from C/A in summer and watery in winter. It's a few feet of rolled out ducts right next to the stove, so it's warmer and colder there. This is a flaw of my choice of installation, not product, so I will re-tap if necessary. Otherwise they are quite light and I think the built in tape will hold it up. My only complaint is that I actually had to push the connector onto the ends of the lights. It was almost to the point where I was waiting for it to come loose when I put it on. They could probably be carved a little better. The light from them is excellent, and the three poles really brighten a small room with a stove. The 4000K hue is much closer to a bright white fluorescent color than a warm white (not surprising at 4000K).

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Too long to wait
