Water based is water based.

Colors flow beautifully and gently from flexible tips. Very similar to a fine brush, but without brush strokes. Metal paint is softer than metal paint but pretty cool. If the paint or paint gets wet again after application and drying, it will smudge or wash off ceramic, metal, etc. I have found this to be different from other similar water based products I have. I would treat all your projects as if they were done with watercolors on paper. Getting wet will ruin them.
