I wore these shoes on my feet 6 times for 9 hours a day. I've been wearing them for 20 years! I wore them right out of the box and was amazed that there was no real breakage during my period - no stiffness, no bruising, no chafing at the toe. I normally wear a 71/2 but I'm an 8, according to the reviews they are perfect for the slightly thicker socks I wear to work. The memory foam feels good, but I'll probably get gel pads, which I always use, so it's no big deal. The shoes are very sturdy but not heavy. .The collar is softer than most work shoes so I don't have bruising on the top of my foot. Some reviews say that this shoe is non-slip. I've worn shoes with this sole for over 20 years and I say yes. Non-slip shoes are designed to shed a small amount of liquid to minimize this. They lose their effectiveness when a lot of hard material like food or snow gets in the chains. They are also not effective on ice. and the sauces on it, they got pretty clear as the garbage dried. I think these shoes look pretty good just a clean look. I'll be wearing them for a few more weeks to make sure they hold together and are still comfortable and if so I'll be ordering 2 more pairs as spares. I would advise anyone who is on their feet all day to consider these shoes provided they are suitable for the floor you are working on. I work in the meat section of a busy supermarket and walk/stand on textured tile and cement 9 hours a day. At least my feet don't hurt at the end of the day!
