Terrible Boat Case

The original Bass Pro Shops case that fits my Bass Tracker Pro Team 175 TF is finally running out and instead of shelling out another $450 for the custom made case I've decided to go down the cheaper route decided. You definitely get what you pay for, and in this case it's terrible coverage. The product description lists 11 straps and I only had 9. I emailed the company and got no response. So I modified the cover by adding 2 fasteners (missing) at the stern of the boat to tighten the cover more tightly. It rained the first time, and since this coating is non-porous, water accumulated in the main body and at the rear near the engine (photo attached). I added 2 struts, one in front of the console and one just in front of the engine. Still in the pool. The only way to prevent rainwater accumulation was to cut slits in the non-porous decking to allow the rainwater to drain onto the deck and into the hold for disposal. The problem was that because the coating is non-porous, it didn't take long for heavy mold to form on any horizontal surface under the coating. Poor coverage, worth $450.
