I tried for a few weeks to really appreciate what this little thing can do - there's no question, if one can actually manage to run this through the length of a dog's body without tearing hair out by the roots & maiming your pet, this brush is absolutely for you.I even bought two different, highest quality possible, hair 'detangler' and grooming sprays that are supposed to make the hair removal process go more smoothly - While that is the case when I use just a normal shedding blade or one of those soft bristle removers, it seems nothing exists to mitigate the overkill power of this novel shedding comb.I decided I'm content with removing whatever a normal, easy to use, shedding blade that doesn't cause my dog nightmares as this comb has for perhaps both of us.Like I said, it removes a profound amount of undercoat if you're willing to savage your animal to do it.Edit: added photos from last time using this comb. It does a good job it’s just not worth the effort. He’s a golden retriever his hair isn’t tangled or matted, it shouldn’t be that hard to run any comb through it.But this thing grasps on so hard to his undercoat I can easily imagine it physically hurting a dog if one doesn’t take extra care.
