I think the most important thing to know beforehand is that the actual mop blade is bad. It leaves tons of streaks and skips glass unless you apply tremendous pressure. The old, used mops you use at the gas station are way better than this one. That being said, if you ignore the mop and think of it as a sponge on a handle, it's perfectly fine for cleaning windows. I especially like that the handle is adjustable and can be pulled out to reach the top of the tall windows. If you're working with a not-so-high range, you can remove a piece or two of the center handle and make the tool shorter. Oh, and as a thank you to the seller, I appreciate that the packaging on this item reminds us to reuse and properly dispose of waste. There should be more of this mood on the product packaging!
