Who knew such a simple product could make such a big difference? During the holidays we put a lot of effort into installing high-voltage LED lights in our house. With these lights, the manufacturer usually includes a dimmer or an IR remote control, which is nothing more than a simple switch. I used to make mine until I found these beauties on Hualan. This is EXACTLY what I needed, just a simple built in toggle switch with a 12vdc plug on one end and a power outlet on the other. The connectors conform to the standard form factor of 5.5mm OD and 2.1mm ID found in almost all commercial LED strips and other low voltage electrical devices. The only caveat: (1) I haven't tested these outdoors, and (2) some plugs can be a bit loose in the outlet, but a quick taping will prevent disconnection if the cord is tugged a bit. You get two switches per pack at an extremely affordable price. Price. I haven't found a better deal anywhere.
