I ordered two OptiMATE 4 CAN-Bus Edition models for our two GS because they come with a BMW DIN plug. Switching between the two charging options CAN bus and direct charging is easy and makes the device versatile. I always lock bikes between rides. OptiMATE does the rest to keep your batteries in top condition and ready for your next ride. The save function is another useful feature. I had to use it and it saved me a battery that no other charger could bring back to life. The only thing I would like the manufacturer to consider is to improve the manual. It's very short and clearly written by someone who has forgotten what it's like to be a first time user. I would deduct half a star for that if I could.
