These straps have a nice look and the construction seems to be pretty good. The strap is stiff and also stretches a little when you pull hard. The buckle sticks out further than I expected, I thought it would be flush or snug with the belt and pants. The release is a spring-loaded thumb lever that compresses the belt. I think it will hold up, but I'm not impressed with the engineering of the system. You get what you pay for and it's not expensive.
