White filters clean water well

Very good micro filter. These white filters are broken down and then replaced with every cleaning. I don't rinse and use them like sponge filters. They do a good job with the filtration system and keep the water clean. I use several different filters in my canister and each filter does the job of keeping the water clean. I disassemble the tank and canister every two months. By then the canister and filters will be dirty, but the water in the tank still looks decent.
