I bought this disc to use with a high end, almost new Windows 10 Pro gaming desktop. Compatibility shouldn't be an issue, but I've never been able to get this drive to work reliably on my desktop, although it worked fine on a few older laptops. to fix the problem which mainly consisted of repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the drive. We were never able to figure out the problem, even after changing cables, plugging into different ports, tweaking the USB options in the BIOS, and finally returning the drive and getting a replacement, which also revealed the same issue. Adata tech support went unanswered so I returned both the original and the replacement for a refund. Thank goodness for Revain's liberal return policy; I did not lose any money on this trade. only a few weeks of escalation to get it working. It's a shame because I really like the compact size of this drive, but I've never been able to get it to work reliably on my hardware.
