Very slow USB-C case

Fantastic drive for the price. I have an 860Evo and get 441MB read and 397MB write. I definitely recommend this drive if you have a spare SSD. My only complaint is that there are mounting holes in the case but not enough room to put screws in it. A very small problem, since the pane is already quite tight.

Doesn't give me USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds

I really liked the look of this case but the writing speed was terrible. Another case I tried started out with a faster write speed that dropped off after a few iterations, but this one was consistently poor. The unlock system for inserting a disc was a bit wonky. But the small size and curved body looked very nice. Too bad the functionality was not.

NEXT USB C Enclosure

It worked for a few days but now it's going into deep sleep or something. When restarting the computer, the hard drive is still not recognized. I really need to disconnect and reconnect it for it to work. I have contacted the seller and am waiting for a response from him. ABS works well, speed is good, ASM235 chipset with the latest firmware

Bought a few cases for a few different drives and compare them. The case is the fastest and I've confirmed with as_mp_util that it has the latest firmware for the ASM235 chipset, or at least the latest I could see anywhere. I compared it with the exact same Ugreen case drive with ASM1153E chipset. , and it had a slight advantage in all tests. Fixed issues with my PS5 rest mode

This case works with PS5 rest mode and does not need to be repaired every time rest mode is used. I used a different case and every time I used sleep mode the drive had to be repaired when the PS5 wakes up. I'm using the same drive with a transparent case and I no longer have this problem whether the game is running from an external drive or not. Doesn't work on my computer, no manufacturer support

I bought this disc to use with a high end, almost new Windows 10 Pro gaming desktop. Compatibility shouldn't be an issue, but I've never been able to get this drive to work reliably on my desktop, although it worked fine on a few older laptops. to fix the problem which mainly consisted of repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the drive.
