The filter itself seems fine, although it takes abuse to install it.

The filter itself seems fine, although it has to be abused to fit a 2014 Ford Fiesta. On the other hand, the old one looked fine at 32,000 miles and I'd be very comfortable ignoring the recommended drain interval.
