Fits my home network

I used this patch panel to terminate the wires from outlets around the rooms of my house. It looks like he's up to the task so far. The stickers on the back showing which cable goes where are *not quite* aligned with the cable slots on some ports. It's easy to understand, but don't follow the stickers blindly. It helps a lot to start at one end and work through each outlet in turn (don't try to skip an outlet) so you can easily see if you left a wired outlet blank. Labels are labeled for both the 568A and 568B schematics. You need a 110 punch. As another reviewer noted, the individual sockets are on either side of the board - two pairs on top, two pairs on bottom. This isn't a problem for me, but I've seen other panels where all four pairs are on the same side. Mine came with four removable plastic brackets (cable guides) that can be installed in one of the eight locations on the back of the panel. They attach pretty securely once you make sure they're fully seated. It also came with 4" white nylon zippers; you can thread them (gently) through the slots where the detachable hoops attach if you like. I can't comment on the gigabit as I only give it a 10/100 use, but 100 megabits is fine.

Pros
  • Includes 89D wall mount for vertical or horizontal installation; Organize wire connections with the included zip ties and connector markers
Cons
  • not sure
