Review on 🔗 Smittybilt 13046B: D-Ring Shackle with 1/2" Threaded Pin – 2.0 Ton Rating – Black by Danny Badasz

When I bought my 2500 HD truck it came with a Class 5 hitch which is larger than the traditional Class 4 hitch which the most trucks have. Little did I realize that this also meant my safety chain hooks would be too small to fit the holes built into the hitch. To solve this problem I found these D-rings look and work great on the bed of a truck. Now I can install my security chains quickly and easily, knowing they will provide as much security as I need without modifying my truck. These are durable D rings and I am very happy with the powder coating on them. I've attached a picture to show how they look on the truck. To be fair, these photos were taken after driving 15,000 miles with towing on the Alaskan highway! These photos show how little wear and tear these D-rings have, as use on such a trip consists of only a few scratches. 5 stars, great looking, functional and durable!
