I bought two of these as I moved in with my partner and my female feline was NOT happy about the change. She wasn't sure if she wanted to attack us, her "brother" - the other cat, or run back and forth while yelling at us. I plugged one in the bedroom and the other in the living room by her self claimed spot. Per the instructions, it could take up to a week to start working and on the 6th day, she finally wanted to cuddle, wanted brushed, and wanted to play, and is finally sleeping with her "brother" again on the scratch tower. She is now laying on my partner's feet at bedtime and gets a little bummed when he goes to work.
