I have a car that I normally store inside during the winter, but due to storage costs I store it outside in my driveway. I have a cover, but in winter it flies and doesn't last. I considered buying a better case, but in my search I came across these straps. I decided to try them. As long as the wind and snow hold. The straps seem very thin (but they weren't that expensive); without implying that they are cheap or of poor quality; The straps are elastic and become even thinner when stretched. They keep the case secure - the length of the strap can be adjusted but I didn't shorten it as I used the extra length to more securely attach it to the car. There are hooks on each end but I couldn't attach the hooks to the car. I ended up tying them around the spokes in the rims and then hooking them under the strap. Generally they do their job. I'm curious if they will keep their elasticity over the winter. I will update my review after winter is over. Meanwhile, I would recommend this product.
