Some of the spray pattern adapters did not fit together. I did manage to get 2 of the 5 to work. All you need to do is take it out into the sunshine and put it in the water and it goes! I use mine in a birdbath because i wanted to have moving water to cut down on mosquitoes. However, with a breeze and the tall spray from the fountain, i had to refill the water a couple times over 3 hours. Therefore, to keep the motor from burning out due to low water, I can only use it when I am nearby on my patio. Options that would greatly improve it, would be the ability to control the force/height of the water, and a timer to have it run for a set number of hours.
